Honeysuckle with unusual variegated foliage

Lonicera japonica 'Mint Crisp'

A new variety of honeysuckle with wonderful variegated foliage and white scented flowers. A fast growing and near evergreen honeysuckle, 'Mint Crisp' won the bronze medal at the European Nurserymen's Plantarium in 2002. 'Mint Crisp' is a sport from the variety 'Halls Prolific' and the attractive mottled green and white ovate summer foliage takes on a distinctive pink colour with the onset of colder temperatures in the autumn. The white flowers turn gold with age and are produced from June to October.
